Description
Ultrasonic Cleaner
An ultrasonic cleaner is a device used for disinfecting and cleaning instruments from plaque, organic residues, and other contaminants. It consists of a container with a lid, a built-in heating element, an ultrasonic generator, and a reflector. Inside the unit, there is a tray for holding tools. The device is equipped with a timer and an electronic control system.
How it works:
Under the influence of ultrasonic waves in the cleaning solution inside the container, gas bubbles form and rapidly collapse, creating a micro-cavitation effect. These tiny, invisible bursts cause the solution to move vigorously into the holes, gaps, curves, and cavities of the instruments being cleaned.
Key Advantages of Ultrasonic Cleaners:
-Safe cleaning: Requires no highly toxic solutions or manual scrubbing.
-Time-saving: Cleaning time is shorter compared to other methods, while still delivering high-quality results.
-Reaches difficult areas: Thanks to strategically placed reflectors throughout the cleaner, even hard-to-reach spots get thoroughly cleaned—places manual cleaning can’t reach.
-Suitable for various materials: Can be used to clean tools made of plastic, metal, and glass.
-Versatile use: Effective for cleaning a variety of items (e.g., circuit boards, parts, jewelry, etc.).
-Wide application: Used across industries that require fast, high-quality cleaning—from food production and healthcare to home use.
How to Use:
Fill the ultrasonic cleaner with water.
Add a disinfectant solution according to the instructions.
Place the instruments inside the tank.
Depending on the model, select the desired heating mode/temperature.
Set and start the appropriate timer.
After the cycle is complete, rinse the instruments under running water and lay them out to dry.
Important Guidelines for Using the Ultrasonic Cleaner:
1 The total amount of liquid in the ultrasonic tank must always stay between the minimum and maximum fill lines.
2 For proper and effective cleaning, the solution must cover the instruments by at least 2 cm. In other words, the liquid level should be 2 cm or more above the submerged tools.
3 Avoid piling instruments on top of each other inside the tank. This can hinder effective cleaning. Ensure that ultrasound waves can reach all surfaces of each tool freely.
4 Never operate the device without water or solution inside the tank.
5 Do not plug in or operate the device if you notice any electrical issues or malfunctions. The cleaner is sensitive to power fluctuations, which can reduce its lifespan.
